Christmas gift guide
10.12.2017

They say the best thing about Christmas are the gifts, and we agree. However, one thing better than being showered with amazing presents, It’s finding that perfect gift for our loved ones. Even if we know our friends and family very well, finding that perfect gift can be a hard task. Either we lack creativity, or we just get lost in the Christmas blitzkrieg carried by stores! There are so many ads, sales, promotions and marketing stunts that we cannot focus. Doriana and I firmly believe that what makes a gift special is the fact that It’s specially chosen for the person we’d like to surprise: tastes, preferences and utility are a few things that you should have in mind when picking it. With all these details in mind and willing to make your life easier, we crafted four gift guides for some of the people we love the most: Our moms, dads, besties and boos! Get inspired

1- Signature kit from Le Creuset : Domestic items, are gifts of great utility and always a good idea for our Mom’s that love an impeccable kitchen and having people over. Besides being adorable, these pans are among the most acclaimed in the culinary world and considered THE Birkin of pans, for its quality and looks, obviously. They are stainless and made of cast iron (extremely heaaavy), allowing the heat to distribute in a uniform way and reaching super high temperatures.

2- Rock-Stud Valentino heels: Our moms love to cook and host just as much as they love to always be impeccably groomed and well dressed! These Valentino heels are an absolute classic that every women need in their closet. Its perfect to wear for work (mega comfy), and appropriate to all those little events that they always have. Nude should be a great choice as it matches almost everything, which helps a lot when deciding what to wear. Plus, it’s one of those “Mother-Daughter” things, both have it, both love it!

3- Ksumi Tea : Offering gourmet delicacies is always a good one! It can be chocolates, spices, drinks..etc, it’s always one of those things to have at home for special occasions, like hosting friends or family..and you know how moms love to spoil their guests! Kusmi Tea is a very nice option. It’s a fine and extremely delicious which preparation ritual makes it super special! Plus, the packaging is gorgeous and looks very chic in the kitchen or on the table…

4-  Tom Dixon  coffee set: Gen’s Mom is completely addicted to coffee and loves everything related to it, from the Nespresso machine to the crockery and all…Gen, on the other hand, is obsessed with everything rose-gold, so this was the perfect opportunity to upgrade her mom’s kit and feed her aesthetic necessities!

1-  De Fursac shirt: Well dressed men are a must, and everything starts with the quality of the clothes. A well-tailored suit, a silk tie, and of course an impeccable shirt are the basics of male clothing. De Fursac has all these elements, combining style and quality without breaking the bank! When picking the perfect shirt for your dad, have in mind that they are usually very discreet. So the best is to go for neutral colours, like this very light blue that is a little twist on the classic white shirt but not a statement colour either.

2- Money clip da Kingsman: From wallets to credit card holders, our dads love pocket accessories. This money clip is both elegant and useful! Also, we highly recommend you to engrave his initials to make it a little more personal and meaningful!

3- Gucci silk tie: The tie is among the classic gifts that can never fail or go out of style. This Gucci tie equally discrete and statement. The logo appears as a print and It’s not as flamboyant. Whatever your choice is, make sure you don’t go hard on the colours and patterns. Dark blue is a little safer than hot pink, right?

4-  Montblanc pen: Pens are one of those things that our dads keep forever and have great utility. We thought that since they spend most of their time writing and signing things including checks for their beloved daughters It should at least be done in great style, right? Montblanc is a great option, they have a wide range of prices that go from the most precious to the more simple pens, all of them very well-crafted and worth the price!

These gifts were specially picked for our beloved friends, sisters and cousins that need to get their Randomly game ON! The list is composed of items that we adore and want all our lovelies to live by too!

1- Candles from  Dyptique/Jo Malone /Byredo: It was super hard to limit ourselves to one candle… so we went a little overboard as per usual and came up with our all-time favourite. It’s essential to get your home smelling to the Gods, It just sets the mood and makes everything better! So it’s that unforgettable gift that she will be using a lot not only  for herself while she takes those long boiling hot relaxing baths, but also with her boo for the romantic nights.

2- Kit masque Peter Thomas Roth: For those of you that have been following us for a while now, know that we are OBSESSED with these masks so we try to have them all!! Thinking of us, beauty junkies, they created a kit with all the cult masks of the brand, and we can guarantee you that they are ALL good and worth it. It’sss even an opportunity to introduce them to the besties that are yet not familiar with the (amazing) tips from Randomly. So they can try them and stay flawless as FUCK!

3- Beauty Kit Nuxe : Clearly, this wouldn’t be us if we left out our favorite kit evaaa!!! You guys know how much we love Nuxe and especially these deliciously smelling products. Its the MOST SUCCESSFUL TIP FROM RANDOMLY… As of today we still get tons of messages from you guys saying how much you love it! So, It’s the perfect gift for your BFF, sister or cousin so you guys can just slay together!

4-  Tom Ford Perfume: The name says it all: Fuckin Fabulous! So it’s for that friend we love and deserves to always feel fabulous, and smell accordingly!! (It’s on our personal lists as well).

Finally gifts for our boo’s, that haven’t been naughty (well maybe sometimes), and truly deserve to be spoiled!

1-  Valentino sneakers: We love a well-dressed guy and we just can’t hide it! These sneakers are the perfect pair for those trendy and cool outfits that every guy should be living in.

2-  Czech&Speake Nail kit: Our men have to MANDATORILY be well taken care of, from head to toe! This gift is that little useful motivation to keep them groomed and looking sharp. Plus, the tools are super aesthetically pleasing so we think they really need it.

3-Yves Saint Laurent Perfume: Perfume it’s that foolproof gift that you can never go wrong with, especially when we know the person from A-Z. And nothing better than having our men smelling to the Gods…Plus It’s just one more reason for us to be rubbing ourselves on them 24/7. Also, these perfumes are a little bit more refined and appropriated for special occasions like Christmas.

4- Bracelet and Necklace from Louis Vuitton : If we had to chose a favourite from all our gift guide it would totally be this one! Louis Vuitton launched this collection especially for the lovebirds, I mean how corny and adorable can matching lettered bracelets and necklaces be? It’s really a gift to be shared with the “apple of your eye”, It can’t get any cuter than this: you with a necklace with his initial, and him with the matching bracelet with yours… Just love the concept! It’s meaningful, romantic and if anything goes wrong make sure your next boyfriend shares the same initial with your ex!

    Hi guys

I want to build a website like Peaches and Screams UK and I wanted to get your perspective of whether that site is good from the users’ perspective before I go ahead and build something similar.

I think that the design of the site is very modern and nice but I am not sure how people would react to a similar site?

I look forward to your feedback.

    Many thanks!
