I might not look like a foodie, but I definitely am one. I love to explore my city, always seeking new spots with different vibes and flavours, and Lisbon really is a great place to do it because there is so much choice! With Valentine’s day right around the corner, most of us are already wondering where to take our other half to enjoy a nice romantic meal… However, the task is never easy especially if you really want to impress your boo. After thoroughly analysing every single element that a restaurant should gather in order to be the ideal nest for our little love birds, I came up with a Top 3 restaurants list where the food and the mood are in perfect harmony for this very special night :

Volver de Carne Y Alma

Volver is an Argentinian restaurant specialized in high-quality meats. With its dim lights and cosy decoration, It really sets the mood for the rest of the night. It’s one of those simple places made for lovers and of course foodies just like me who enjoy amazing meats. What I like the most about Volver, It’s that Its sort of a hidden location, so you can enjoy your privacy with no risks to end up on a double date with that couple of friends you accidentally bumped into.

Bistro 100 Maneiras

Bistro 100 Maneiras is one of those restaurants in which the food is so so good, that you should go as few times as possible so It doesn’t lose that special “first-time” feeling. It’s not as romantic as Volver, as It has a lot more light and that very sophisticated and modern side to it. The decoration is super tasteful, with a very cool, chic and trendy vibe but not pretentious at all. The cocktails are out of this world, and exactly what you need to warm things up a little… I suggest that you book (in advance) the table on the second floor next to the window as It’s very private and perfect for lovers. Oh, and don’t forget to try the risotto… It’s exquisite!
